Two systems on one desk
A transcript from Buea or Bamenda usually comes with credits and a grade-point average. One from Yaoundé I or Douala usually comes with teaching units, marks out of 20 and validé par compensation. Both cross this desk, in opposite directions, and neither is translated into the other’s system.
What changes is the language, not the scale. The table is rebuilt cell by cell, then read a second time against the original before anything is certified: a mark shifted by one row misleads whoever reads it, whether that is a French university or a credential evaluator.

Frequently asked questions
Do you convert my GPA, or my marks out of 20?
Neither. A GPA on a 4-point scale stays a GPA on a 4-point scale; a 14/20 stays a 14/20. Converting a grade is the evaluator’s job, and a certified translation that does it loses its standing as a faithful translation.
Do I need every semester translated, or just the final year?
That depends on the institution reading the file: some want the complete record, others the final results only. Check your checklist, or tell us the destination. You pay for the pages you actually need, at a flat rate per page.
