What gets translated, and what gets legalised
Two operations are often confused in Gulf files. Translation makes the document readable. Attestation gives it administrative value: it goes through the Cameroonian authorities, then the destination country’s mission. No translator can affix those seals, and anyone who promises to is selling something other than what they say.
Our part is clear: the translation, with a statement of accuracy signed and stamped. Yours: the legalisation chain. We tell you in which order to do them, because a translation produced before the seals sometimes has to be redone.
For English, our own translator translates and signs. For every other language the translation is made and certified by a partner translator for that language; we tell you who before we start.

What the source says
To attest a document in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs asks for the original in Arabic or English, or accompanied by a legally certified translation. A Cameroonian degree issued in English therefore does not have to go through Arabic for that step.

Frequently asked questions
My degree is in English — must it be translated into Arabic for the UAE?
Not for attestation by the UAE ministry: it accepts the original in Arabic or English. An employer or a professional authority may ask for something else; get the requirement in writing before ordering a translation.
What if my documents are in French?
Then a legally certified translation is needed, into Arabic or into English. Tell us the country and the use: often French into English is enough, and that one our own translator does at the office.
Do you handle the attestation for us?
No. Attestation is done by the Cameroonian authorities and then by the destination country’s mission: they are the ones that affix their seals, and no translator can do it for them. We prepare the translation, you carry out the procedure.
